Florin's optics narrowed into dangerous-looking slits. Had she been most any other doll, she might have appeared threatening. Naturally, the fluff and pink pearls on her body seemed to void out most any attempt she might've made at such.
It wasn't difficult to drive her to the edge. Vagabond, however, seemed to have made record time in pissing her off, previously rivaled only by Florin's brother." How dare you! I'm out here, minding my own business, and you come along, hit me in the head, and then have the nerve to... " She trailed off, before letting out a frustrated sigh. Forget it, it wasn't worth the time. He didn't seem like the type she could convince anyway. "Oh, to hell with it... alright, fine. You're at least a little smarter than I thought. Of course, that's still not saying much. " She turned to look at Pearl. " Forgive me, I've no problem with you. I apologize for any rude behavior I may display. "

"If you do not wish to listen to us and have other commitments besides, then I suggest that you leave." Her gaze was locked on Vagabond, and she did not turn to address Florin's response to the situation. Unlike Florin she did not seem to be angered by the situation, certainly not to the point of rudeness or shouting. If anything she seemed more stoic than before; her tone diplomatic and her face void of expression. Although she was interested by the alleged Racketeer's attempts to save face after blowing up, she was more interested in dealing with this hooligan, who she saw as little more than an obstacle now. Never before had she met a stitchpunk quite like this one, but despite his intriguing qualities she did not want to continue tolerating his insulting, offensive - or perhaps, merely brutally honest - demeanour.

Vagabond bared his teeth again at Florin. "Look lady, I know I'm not exactly the most intelligent guy on the planet, but if you keep calling me stupid I'll slap you so hard you shit a bolt, got me?" He punctuated his statement by pointing an overlarge finger at her. He turned to Pearl.
"I just don't understand why you try so hard to put on airs and pretend you're so fancy and civilized. Ever taken a look around? World's ended, people, not really a whole lot to be civilized about when civilization got nuked years ago." He waved his hands behind him, indicating the blasted, rubble-strewn landscape.
"Our creators left us for dust, don't you get it? They didn't even have the common decency to be around when we woke up to explain the situation! 'Oh, hey! Welcome to the waking fucking world! Don't spit in public! Don't cross the fucking street without looking both ways! Oh yeah, and be careful in the goddamn emptiness because there are crazy ROBOT MOTHERFUCKERS Who wanna capture you, flay you alive, and bring your half-wasted ass back to the Grand Asshole so he can rebuild you! Oops, we made them too! Sorry!'" Vagabond's tirade came to an end, and he dropped back to a crouched position. His eyebrows raised and he gave an obviously fake sweet smile, sardonically urging them to answer his queries and rantings.
((OOC: Vagabond doesn't know that some ragdolls' creators were still around when they were woken up.))

Florin didn't seem fazed by his rant. She simply stared at him, waiting for him to finish.
There was truth in his words, she knew. She, however, had known her creator. She'd seen him alive, even interacted with him. It was brief, probably only a few days, but she still held very vivid memories of the time with him. And she despised them.
She hated the very man who created both she and her brother. His death had brought her the greatest satisfaction she'd ever felt. The early days of her life were rarely brought to mind. She had forbidden Zosimos, who has witnessed almost every moment of her life since her awakening, from speaking about it. Florin had been created for no other purpose than as a pet, to be someone's decorative porcelain doll. She was never meant to live outside of a home, much less in a world such as this. It was her creator's fault she was trapped in this decaying world, in a form that was all but useless for survival without the aid of another.
However, she wasn't about to give in that easily. She was free to chose how to live her life. Where others saw death and decay, the Racketeers saw opportunity. Opportunity to begin anew. She wouldn't live in a fight, she knew that well. With the Racketeers, she was free to be the lady she was meant to be, without the constant risk of death. Drugs, murder, prostitution... well, nothing was perfect. Those were just some flaws that came with life. So be it.
" Don't think I don't know what the humans did to us, fool. I know quite well. They destroyed their own world and left us nothing, but they did give us free will. I do as I choose, because I can. I chose my path, you chose yours. And I suggest you choose your words carefully, Savior. You forget you're not in your church. You've no friends to help you should mine show up. " Her voice was soft and calm, but held a low, threatening undertone.

His words rang true, there was no doubt about it. Waking up in a box with the fabric of her back gaping open was the least dignified event of her life so far. But Pearl did not for a second believe that a person's origins defined how they would live their life. The first day of the year did not set the bar for every day to follow. If she were to meet the kind doll who helped her the day she awoke, there was no doubt that he would not recognise her; since her rebirth she had improved herself greatly, from the tatty fabric of her body to the knowledge she held in her brain. There was never any pressure for her to become the person she was now, yet here she stood, debating history with a hooligan.
"Florin, I could not have put it better myself," she began after an acceptable pause, in a tone that might have been complimentary. "The only detail I would add," she continued, turning to face Vagabond, "is that my civility and graces are not an act. Vagabond, I must say, that is a very pessimistic attitude for you to have about this world." For a moment she regarded him with an expression of pity, but it was gone in the click of a golden shutter. "Where you see the lifeless ashes of a carcass, I see the budding germ of a phoenix. But this phoenix isn't going to ignite on it's own, no. It needs a spark, and that spark needs nurturing, and that nurtured bird needs structure and knowledge if it is to ever achieve its full potential."
Even now she failed to see the irony in her earlier claim to add a mere small detail to Florin's words, only to deliver an entire speech. However she was well aware of the contrast between the vulgarity of Vagabond's words and the metaphorical qualities of hers. "This world can rise from the ashes, if only we would try." Of course, Pearl could care less about the world. It was her own full potential she strived to achieve, but even in the human life she no longer remembered, she built her reputation by trying to build a city in the suburbs. Everybody depends on their environment, and she knew that if you wanted the nature of people to be inclined towards you, then improving their environment was an effective way to gain their attention. (OOC: I'm going away until Friday with no internet access, so don't expect another reply from me until then~)

Vagabond glared at Florin as she threatened him, then nodded as if she were finally making sense to him. Fancy, hoity-toity talk he didn't do- But Vagabond was accustomed to threats, both on the give and take. The frown on his face seemed more reserved than before.
"Lady, you really think I'd be out here every single day if I had friends?" He grumbled, his black teeth glinting as he turned for a moment to face the sun. He was quiet for a split second, then turned to Pearl as she began talking. He listened- He seemed to be good at that, if not vulgar and brutish in his vocalizations of his own thoughts- And once she had finished talking his frown deepened.
"Well. I guess I see your point. But I have seen a fair bit of this world. So, excuse me if your speech doesn't motivate me to turn my fuckin' life around." The tone and words were harsh, but the meaning behind them seemed a might nicer than he had been so far that day.

Florin turned to glance at Pearl for moment, the stitching that served as her brow raised slightly in surprise. This doll was every bit as pleasant and intelligent as she looked. Nor had she reacted negatively when Florin's identity as a Racketeer was announced. Why was she not a Racketeer herself? She would be a very beneficial member indeed. Florin made a mental note to speak to her after they were finished with the Savior.
Speaking of which, Florin had to restrain herself from making a joking insult at Vagabond. She eventually decided it was not in her favor. He may not be incredibly intelligent, but those arms looked like they could hurt. Not a gamble she was about to take just to make a joke. She already had one dent in her skeleton, she wouldn't need another. "Well, that choice is ultimately yours, Savior." The word slipped from her lips in such a sharp, disdainful way, one might think it could have cut her as she said it. " You can sit and wallow in the decay of the previous world, or attempt to create a new one. I for one, choose the possibility of progress. "

After listening to Vagabond's reasoning for refusing to try, the blue-clad doll didn't have time to think about her reply before Florin spoke up, once again taking the words right out of the Lone's mouth. The briefly quiet doll took a moment to consider the way in which the Racketeer spoke to the Savior, and she recalled the information she had been told about the tension between the groups of stitchpunks which inhabited the known land. Considering the two factions this pair belonged to were almost complete opposites in their principles, it turned out to be no surprise to her that they would be at each other's throats.
No sooner had she finished this thought did she pick up the conversation where Florin left off. "There will always be room for progress," Pearl added in agreement and nodded solemnly. Her attention was turned back to the Savior as she spoke again: "There will also always be new aspects to discover; new people to meet; new opportunities to seize. If you take no other advice away from this conversation, Vagabond," she spoke firmly, turning to face him a little more fully, "Then take this: never throw away even the smallest of opportunities." These words were followed by an expression which despite containing a small smile seemed to only imply that Pearl was 100% confident in her words, and if anyone were to have reason to question this then they would be, without a doubt, incorrect.

Vagabond's fingers began to bend inwards, and he stood up as his fists closed entirely. His lip curled to display his black teeth and his optics narrowed. "I have put up with your shit for as long as I'm gonna put up with your shit." He hissed, pointing his thick finger at Florin again. "If you don't knock it the fuck off I'm gonna put another dent in that braincase of yours, got it? I've been nice and patient on account of I don't know you and you're a lady, but you are working my very very last nerve."
His words shook with anger and it did indeed sound as if he'd been holding back a good deal of anger. He had no issue with Pearl. She was being a good deal more civil than he would have been in her situation, and so made use of his body language to tell her this.
His gaze was locked in Florin and even though he was looking up at her, he looked more dangerous in this instance than he had all day.

Florin glanced at him, her optics narrowed in boredom. She was fully aware of how physically weak she was, how Vagabond, or even Pearl for that matter if she wanted to, could easily injury her, even kill her. Still, her pride and vanity trumped her basic instincts. Even some machines would have a hard time frightening her. Few had ever managed to lower her into submission, and she wasn't about to allow some stray Savior who wandered into her faction's territory to be one of them.
Still, Florin managed to maintain civility. She may be useless physically (save for decorative and more... 'pleasurable' purposes), but she prided herself in her etiquette. " Is there really a need for such language? No one is forcing you to stay here, love. You can leave any time you please." Her voice was soft and calm, almost tauntingly so. She looked over her silver fingers once again, casually inspecting them for any dirt or blemishes.
"Though, it seems I need remind you again, you're not at your home right now. You're a guest in ours. Whatever position you may hold with your alliance, I'm afraid has little meaning here." She looked up from grooming her nails, smiling sweetly at him as she clasped her hands together, lacing her fingers. "So, it seems I'm not held by any laws or regulations, written or not, to obey your wishes while we're both outside the area your alliance holds. While I do still hold the option to fulfill your desires, that choice is entirely mine, and I'll receive no formal punishment if I decide to refuse." She tilted her head and smiled at him in an innocent, girlish manner. " So, what that basically means, my dear, is 'you aren't the boss of me, and I'll do whatever the hell I want.'"

"People," Pearl spoke immediately, predicting that between Vagabond's threats and Florin's taunts that somebody was going to get hurt if their banter wasn't stopped. "I did not come here to referee a dispute between two feuding factions, and you two did not come here to argue either. You did not even know one another until a short time ago." For a moment she paused, glancing between the pair of them, and seeing that her words had not had a satisfactory effect, she continued with twice as much enthusiasm.
"There is not enough time in the world to stand around bickering with strangers! You may think that you are worlds apart but in the end, neither of you is a Machine, and neither deserves to be treated as such." The disapproving emphasis she placed on the name of the beasts which inhabited the Factory clearly indicated her scorn for the creatures, and in turn the scorn she would have for the two dolls present if they continued to behave in such an unproductive manner.
"I insist that the two of you start behaving properly at once. If you are going to continue to act irrationally then I will have to take my business elsewhere." These words were accompanied by a stern expression, but followed by a mildly disappointed gaze which was shared over the two dolls, as if she had expected better of them from the beginning.
Perhaps she had. Vagabond had proven to be more gentle and polite than his appearance would suggest, although not by much, yet now he was doing nothing but live up to the prejudice that so many must have for him. Florin's first impression on the other hand boasted countless opportunities of professional business, but the likelihood of this seemed further and further away each time she responded to the Savior. Yes, Pearl had definitely expected better than this.

Vagabond seemed to be considering Pearl's words- He'd frozen in place, quite obviously thinking hard about his next course of action. His mouth slowly closed and his finger and arm drooped slightly as he thought. He finally dropped his arm and tapped his lip in thought, chin dipping towards the ground. "You know what?" He said finally. "You're right." He nodded slowly, looking mildly at Pearl, slowly turning to fix his gaze on Florin. "I'm not at home right now. You are. But I know a fairly simple solution." His hand shot out suddenly and violently and wrapped around Florin's entire face, efficiently blocking her mouth and cutting off the threat of her screaming for help.
"You know, I could give two shits whether or not she's a Racketeer." He said offhandedly to Pearl as he began to walk absentmindedly towards the Racketeer boundary that lay along the borders of the unclaimed lands in between them and the Emptiness, dragging Florin along behind him by the face. "She's just fucking rude, and I got sick of it. So we're gonna have ourselves a respectable conversation where she doesn't own the place."
He stopped for a moment, determining what direction to move off in, and began striding that way. He kept his hand closed tight around Florin's head, not tight enough to crush her skull by any means, but plenty enough to keep her silent. His lead palm muffled sound quite nicely, and it was that quality he was counting on at the moment.

Upon listening to Pearl's scolding, Florin visibly shrunk back in embarassment, her fur puffing up slightly as if in an attempt to hide her face. Pearl was right, she knew. Florin took such pride in her etiquette, and now here she was in a petty agrument with some Savior-.. er, other doll. And she'd wanted so much to impress Pearl as well. She wanted to hit herself. Were she alone, she would have. This was no way for a lady to act. She was better than this.
"You're absolutely right, dear. I'm so sorry. Please, forgive me... " She turned to look at Vagabond as he began to speak as well. She watched him calmly, trying her damndest to push the prejudice she held for his faction away, at least for now. Maybe he wouldn't be so bad...
Of course, that thought didn't last long. Her pupils shrunk and a scream slipped from her lips, or at least it would have were it not muffled by Vagabond's palm. Before she could react he began to pull her away. At first she tried to pull back, trying to slip from his grasp, but no avail. The male anima was far stronger than her.
Her hands rose to grasp onto his forearm. If anything about her was even remotely threatening, it would be her fingers. Though designed to look like a woman's long, manicured nails, they more resembled talons, and were the closest thing to a defense she was equipped with. She gripped tightly onto his arm, the pointed tips of her fingers stabbing and scratching against it, though it likely had little effect on the male's metal forearm.
Unable to slip his grip, Florin had no choice but to follow, stumbling and falling to her knees several times as she was dragged by the shorter stitchpunk.

For the first time since meeting these two dolls, Pearl seemed to be completely lost for words. For starters, she wasn't entirely sure whether Vagabond had missed her point completely or was simply reacting to it in his own unique and somewhat violent manner. Since his offhand remark was entirely true - Florin was acting immaturely and Pearl had only used the explanation of the feuding factions to avoid calling her out for it in so many words - the blue-clad doll assumed the latter, that the shorter doll had taken her words seriously. Florin had too, of course, but such a grovelling apology was easier for the civilised doll to understand.
She considered this as she watched the two stitchpunks move away, and it wasn't until after Vagabond had stopped to consider where exactly he was dragging Florin to that Pearl also began to move, following him at a reasonable distance. She still hadn't made a comment on the situation, but if this was simply Vagabond's interesting way of dealing with things, then nothing needed to be said.
Although she knew she could do nothing to physically stop the hulking doll, she didn't feel that it was necessary; despite Florin's struggling Pearl was fairly certain that the hand around her face wasn't causing any damage, to her head anyway. Her knees would probably be very dusty, if not a little worn out, by the time the beige doll had been dragged over the border. But that was Florin's problem, and for now Pearl was satisfied enough with the present outcome of the situation to be merely bystander as it continued to develop.

Vagabond growled as Florin's sharp nails dug at his arm, but the lead was not easily damaged. He huffed somewhat. "Girl you're going to fuck up your precious frame even more." He lifted her up in the air by the head.
His short body may not have been very tall, but his arms were longer than his body was, and when both were raised it was enough to lift Florin somewhat off the ground. Vagabond examined his surroundings for another moment and moved Florin off to the side.
"This could easily have been avoided- You know, if you weren't a stuck up bitch." He said casually to Florin. "Sorry to get you mixed up in this shit. You obviously don't deserve to be dealing with this. So, I'm sorry. To YOU. We are still gonna have words." He said, turning his head to look at Pearl. As he waddled along, it began to become more and more clear that they were headed for Unclaimed Lands- They were currently in Savior territory again, so it was obvious he was not trying to turn the tables on Florin- Merely even them out.
