Hunting huh? ... I guess She stared at him coldly then looked to the side. "You know I thought I already told you this." She answered somewhat honestly. Her attention was on something shiny. Phoenix immediately dashed towards it with a serious look on her face.
That shine came from a small bottle cap. A small look of disappointment came across her face. Darn ... that could have been something special. The little doll slithered back to the large doll, "If it seems like I'm avoiding your question ... your absolutely correct! However! ..." she paused, "I'll have you know I'm a Rogue. Now doesn't that help at all? Ja?" She kept smiling and her fingers curled.
At this point she really wanted to dig her fingers into something. Instead of clawing her hands into the other doll, she plopped on to the ground and started to dig a small hole. She figured that it was better to do that, it wasn't like her dull fingers could rip open any fabrics.

He rolled his optics as she ran back and forth, then dropped to a sitting position and began digging a seemingly random hole. This one was spastic. He cocked an eyebrow and knelt down to be somewhat more on her level, though he was still taller than she.
"... Ehhh... Nyet." He said. His brow furrowed. "I do not know this area very well. Dis place is large and I try to stay away from settlements." He took out another of the cigarette papers and sat back. He realized suddenly that he had no fire to light it with and returned it to it's original location in his chest cavity. "Who are the Rogues?"

Who are the Rogues.
Who are the Rogues.
Who are the Rogues.
What kind of question was that? I mean ... Phoenix did not want to answer his question. She didn't like being questioned or at least right now. Her fingers kept digging into the ground until she felt a rock then paused.
"You sure you want me to answer that? ... I don't really feel like talking." Her optics wandered somewhere else and felt her body fall back. Next thing she knew she was looking straight at the sky and a sigh slithered out of her small mouth. "Think. Boneyard. Nik. Another man's trash IS another man's treasure." Phoenix's words were a little choppy, but you could understand her.
Another puff of wind picked up and a chill danced down her chest. She held back a whimper. Her fingers back to back at the ground again. This time she put more effort into her fingers.

Nikolai gave a slight nod of approval. He didn't really feel like talking either. "Fine. We will not ask questions." He got to his feet. "We are going now. Dis place is not safe. I do not trust dis wind, it will give our scent to the enemy."
He crossed his arms. "I am taking you back to your home... Or, wherever you are wanting to be going. The machines are restless today." He offered her his hand to help her up. "If we do not move now we will be found.

She agreed that staying here for long wasn't the best idea. Staying in Traitor territory wasn't the best place to be for someone like her. Or any doll that wasn't affiliated with the machines for that matter. However Phoenix had mixed feelings with the other doll. She trusted him yet at the same time felt intimidated by his demeanor.
Her little hands grabbed on his hand nonetheless and she hoisted herself up. The petite doll kept quiet with her optics wide and she scanned the area. Could have sworn I heard something ... Phoenix still couldn't shake the feeling something was here.
"The sooner the better." She paused for a moment before asking, "I'm not the worst doll you've met right? Just answer that question and we will stop with asking question. I'M SORRY!" It was a sudden paranoia that filled her from whatever is spooking her and Nikol. Both those feeling combined made her a little edgy.

Nikolai's eyebrow crept up his forehead at the sudden personality shift of the little doll, and he began to suspect her of being bipolar. That was not necessarily a problem, but it did complicate things somewhat. It made her more unpredictable, and he did not like that.
"Ehh... Niet. I have met stranger." He patted her gently on the shoulder. "Do not be sorry." He glanced around at the metal hills around him, then turned back to Phoenix. "Where do you want to go first?" He said.

The petite doll smiled after his response. However, her paranoia didn't fade away. It was only then did the larger doll asked where they should go. Well they could go anywhere, bad or safe. Phoenix didn't particularly know exactly where they are. I hope this guy has a compass of some sort...
"Um ..." She paused for a while and her optic twitch for a second. "North .... ish? Fine with you right?" It was the first direction she thought of and she stuck with it. Her optics scanned the area once more and a frown slid across her face.
She was beginning to feel safe around Nikol, even liking him. More or less her fondness with him was actually respect. Phoenix at that point question how the other's opinion on her once more.

"Yes." Nikolai said, craning his neck to peer at the northern piles of junk. "Is your home to the north?" He asked. However, he began walking without waiting for an answer, his long strides quickly carrying him away from her. "Come. Let us go now."
The wind was blowing east, and Nikolai felt uneasy. He did not do well with young stitchpunks. They were difficult to handle. Mostly he just shouted at them until they stopped crying. This method did not ever work. They only cried harder.
"What is your name?" He asked her once more. He began to realize that this was a doll that would take many questions to get an answer.

"...Phoenix" her voice piped. She had a sudden urge to repeat what he said, almost like a parrot, but her mind thought of something else and drew a blank.
She began to step into the other's shadow just for her own amusement. "Did I ask for your name yet?" Her attention was still focused on his shadow, and in that moment she wanted to ask a load of questions.
"DUDE! We ... should totally find someone! I don't know why, but we should!" Phoenix's tone changed, it was now more of a low-voiced surfer girl accent. While she blurted out her optics widened as if she had a magnet high.
