It'd been quite some time since she'd last visited this place. Too long, really. Each time she entered, the place seemed to enchant her again, as if it were the first. Oh, the very thought of the performances the humans would have here... she was never lucky enough to see one herself, but she'd read about many of them. How wonderful it must have been when this place was in it's prime. Now, the theatre was little more than a shadow of it former self, but to Florin, it still was a monument to some of the human's greatest achievements. Despite her hatred for the now-extinct race as a whole, even she could not deny they had their talents. Her favorite, was their art. Song, dance, stories, paintings, everything. The humans were masters of creating beauty.
One created her, didn't they?
Her silver hand gingerly brushed a few stray flakes of snow from the white fur that adorned her neck and shoulders. She held no visible weapon, wore no armor, though she was expecting to find someone here, eventually. She was surprised she'd not met another on the way from the Clocktower. Whether they'd be friendly or not, there was no way of knowing.
Her appearance alone often served as armor enough for her. Only a truly brutal doll would attack an unarmed, lone female, especially one so attractive (She believed, anyway. That was really a matter of opinion and taste. ). Most she'd met seemed to have a bit more honor than that.
Of course, experience had now taught her not to rely on it alone. She'd taken with her the head of a precision knife, but kept it safely hidden, wrapped up with one of the many magnets she always kept on her person. Just in case.
A dreamy sigh slipped from Florin's lips as she entered into the theatre, and began to gaze around, as if it were still in use, and she were expecting a show. Perhaps if she listened closely, she could still make out the music, or the actors voicing their parts...

Lovely place the theater was. Just lovely! The red color that painted near everything was very stunning! How the cold, gray day made it appear a little gloomy did not. At least the red helped make it a bit more cheery, though. Today was a special day. It was a day that Dove was still alive! Any day you're living is a momentous occasion. Of course you can't throw parties every day just because you're glad to be alive, but it was a nice thought to dwell on often. Dove believed so, anyways. With that thought, she was extra happy and had a skip in her step. Her dull feathers bounced as she explored between isles; searching for lost things the humans may have dropped some time ago. A earring here, a pen there(to be honest she had no idea why they'd bring a pen to a theater. To take notes on acting maybe?).
She picked up a piece of- well she didn't know what it was. It was white and not heavy in the least. In fact, it was pretty light weight. She picked at it and it broke in half, which she wasn't surprised since it was so fragile. This was a sort of thing she couldn't have; it was an edible substance and of no use to her. Edible things just fell apart real easy. If Dove where human, she'd probably take more joy in the salted treat. She tossed the two halves of the fluff ball behind her and went on with her exploring.
Earlier, the feathered girl had been out looking for something to entertain her. It didn't take her long to decide she didn't like the snow very much, and took shelter within the cozy-looking theater. She had her favorite needle with her, but it was unlikely she'd need to use it. Certainly any big-bad machines that were desperate to hunt down a stitchpunk or two weren't desperate enough to trump through the freezing cold. That weather could send icy chills down your metal frame! Or maybe that was just her. She never was fond of the white fluff, even if it was supposed to be frozen rain.
Humming softly to her self, she trotted to pick up some lovely purple object laying in the middle of the isle she was in. Like she needed more plastic 'gems'. She dropped it into her pocket anyways, giving a satisfied smile.

She could definitely hear music, yes... but not the kind she was listening for. Another doll, she immediately knew. No cold-blooded murderer would be humming like that. Unless they were insane, perhaps... hopefully not... probably not... right?
Florin turned to the source of the soft sound, immediately spotting the slightly smaller stitchpunk. A younger one, a girl, she noticed. That was surprising, but relieving. This little doll seemed harmless enough. Perhaps it could be profitable to speak to her.
Florin took a few quiet, careful steps towards the new doll. "... Um... hello there." She called out softly, gently, so not to startle her.

She poofed up her feathers, having the fluffy white parts stick out more and straightened her back. Oh, she was always so prideful when she found something she liked. It was only natural to take a more prideful stance to match. She turned on the spot, about to skitter under one of the comfortable (albet large) cushioned chairs into the next isle. However, an unfamiliar voice stopped her. Her head turned to put a face to the words, though she didn't feel very threatened so there was no need to whip out her needle on the fellow doll. "Hello." Despite the excitement she just experienced, her voice kept a fairly calm tone to it.
This stitchpunk- or rather this lady(Dove felt the term fit better)- was fluffy. Around her neck, at least. Dove wondered if that fur was soft. And if it was, did it come off? Maybe it'd look nice on her! She pushed away the distracting thoughts and turned toward her. "Who're you?"

A bit odd, this one. She seemed a bit skittish. Must be another loner. Though Florin had to admit she rather liked the feathers this one wore. And her body, was that silk? It was rather nice. At least someone else around here showed care in their appearance. Perhaps this one would be more... pleasant, than her previous encounters with strangers.
"I'm just visiting. Forgive me for disturbing you, my dear. My name is Florin." She bent down to give a polite curtsy to the new doll, though it was more of out habit than actually showing submission or respect to her. "Is this theatre your home?"

My my, what manners! She liked her already. "I'm Dove! No, this iddn my home. I live somewhere. . um. Somewhere." It was at that moment she realized how lost she had likely just made herself by coming out here. In a sort of confusion, she looked around as if she were expecting to find some answer as to exactly how far she'd wandered away from home this time. None such answer came obviously, and she returned to trying to keep focus on speaking to Florin. "I came from that'a way" Dove turned to point toward the theaters entrance. This explanation wouldn't do much with helping her get her point across, because you'd have to come through the entrance to get in, but she thought it was okay.
"But'uh founda few nice things here!" Dove quickly added, thinking that assuring Florin that it was okay she had gotten lost would keep her from looking down on the girl. "I get lost all'th time so it's no big deal!"

(( OOC: I'm going to start putting Florin's speaking parts in color since it seems everyone else is doing so. X3 ))
Florin blinked once. This doll didn't seem to be the most intelligent she'd ever met, but something about her was still somewhat charming and pleasant, as much as Florin didn't want to admit it. The girl was rather... cute, for lack of a better word. She reminded Florin a bit of her brother.
She let out a soft sigh of relief and smiled at the doll. "Oh, excellent. I was afraid for a moment I'd wandered into your home whilst you were busy." Her gaze wondered down to the floor, to look at the random objects Dove had been looking at and picking up. Not much in here seemed of value to Florin, other than the history the building itself held, but than again, the value she held for items were quite different from those of most stitchpunks.
"Forgive me for asking dear, but I'm curious, what is it you were doing a moment ago?"

"I was just lookin' for stuff n I found this one cute purple gem here." She reached into her pocket and took the plastic jewel out, holding it between her three fingers for Florin to see. "See?" Dove grinned at it, rather proud that she got to show it off, even if it wasn't that impressive. The thing wasn't very big, either; it was almost the size of her hand, but only almost.
"S'pretty iddn it?" Dove looked from the gem to Florin, hoping to have impressed her. "I can probably find somethin' bedder though. ." The little decorative object went back into her pocket as she turned a slow circle, looking around but not wanting to go off while talking to the other. That would be rude!
Dove was one to enjoy showing off, if only so she wouldn't be seen as little; in mind, or body. She could collect supplies just fine, she could live alone just fine, and she certainly could take care of herself just fine! By the end of this, Florin could not NOT think Dove was a smart, responsible young lady. Right? She hadn't displayed much of either, though. Compared to Florin, she must speak very silly, and about how she'd gotten lost- oh, not responsible in the least. This suddenly worried Dove. Maybe she would try acting like Florin to appear more proper? Yeah, that could work. She'd do that.

"Oh, yes, I see. How lovely indeed. Violet is such a rare color." Well, it was good to see someone else who appreciated beauty. Most dolls wouldn't bother with something unless it was of use. Perhaps this little doll was an artist or something of the sorts. That would be wonderful, to finally find someone else who took an interest in arts. Florin was surprised to find herself taking a liking to this stitchpunk. What potential she could have...
Speaking of beauty, Florin didn't seem to notice that gaze gaze occasionally drifted down to look at Dove's blue silk skin. Florin was quite fond of colors, and rare things. Dove's blue silk was both. It would work rather nicely, if she could manage to get a small piece...

Dove stopped looking to give Florin a smile; she'd never taken much thought to how rare colors were. If something was a certain color, then that was that, it was just that color! "Rare?" She asked, mostly to herself. She was likely about to say something not-so-smart, so before she could she added "Yes, of course! I knew that." The feathered girl took extra care with pronouncing her words, there would be no slurring!
"Maybe you could find something just as pretty here, or better." The word better and pretty sure did sound funny to Dove when she enunciated on the t's. Really, saying 'bedder' and 'preddy' sounded more natural. Fluttering the sound the double letters made was the way she normally did certain words, and was a whole lot easier!

Florin tilted her head slightly at Dove, noticing the change in her speaking pattern. Was she trying to speak more appropriately? How absolutely adorable! Florin could help but giggle softly, though not in an offensive manner.
" Perhaps, yes. I hadn't really thought about it. I simply love visiting this place. It's beautiful... to think, the history it holds, the events that once occurred in here... it's truly amazing, isn't it? " She turned to look around the theatre as she spoke, a sense of awe in her voice. " How wonderful it must have been to see the performances here. Don't you think? " She turned to look back at Dove, awaiting her response.
Normally Florin would have no patience with a doll this... unusual, for lack of a better word. Perhaps it was just mothering instincts that were passed to her by the human soul she possessed, but she was finding this doll's company quite enjoyable. How curious and innocent she was.

Gee, Florin must really like this place! It was pretty neat, actually. Dove sure did wish she had something back home as bright red as most of the stuff in the theater was. "Uh-huh!" She agreed with a swift nod. The only plays she knew of herself, where Shakespeare's plays, from some human memory. Romeo and Juliet stood out in her mind, something about two families not wanting their children together, or something like that. "Acting must've- uh- must have- been hard!" She noted, then thought for a moment "Or maybe not, all you have to do is fake a smile or frown really." Dove made a sad face to try it out and give an example, but it didn't look very believable. Frowning wasn't her specialty anyways, so a half-grin replaced it quickly.
"This's my first time here, did I tell you that?"

(( /decides to jump the colored-dialogue bandwagon too wheee!/ ))
Like the two strangers currently exploring the Theatre, Lurid did not own this building. She had, however, been given permission to reside here, as she had become a part of a family that was good friends with the owner. She and Mike had been recovering from their imprisonment and escape from the Factory here, slowly healing from their near-death experiences. It had been a slow, grueling process, but both were much stronger now (though Lurid’s body was still armless, jawless, and horribly scarred and patched).
Lurid had spent most of the day dozing next to her mate, but was awakened by the sound of strange voices. At first she thought nothing of it, assuming that Donnie or Ven were interacting somewhere, but as she became more awake she began to realize these voices were completely foreign to her… and she couldn’t hear anyone familiar at all to hint that they were guests.
Trespassers.
Lurid snapped to complete focus as the realization hit her, and without thinking or remembering her condition, she slipped out of bed and took off towards the sounds. They were in the main theatre room it sounded like. She made a beeline for the room, climbing over and dipping under things, and once she was far enough away to hopefully not wake Mike up she became to ROAR as well as she could in her current body (which was quite a believable roar), rushing into the room and trying to look as menacing as possible.
“TRESPASSERS! LEAVE! OUT! NOW!” She raged, hissing with animalistic fury.
As she came in SIGHT of the dolls, however, she stumbled to a halt and almost fell on her face. These dolls were BEAUTIFUL. They… maybe she had made a mistake? WERE they guests? They certainly LOOKED like the kind of company Ven would enjoy… but then again, Lurid had met beautiful and terrible people before. Ven would care if someone was cruel, even if they were pretty. Lurid shook her head a bit and gave off another growl, stamping her feet.
“Who are you? Did you get permission to be here?” She tried to clack her teeth but she didn’t have a bottom jaw ffff instead she just glared at the two very lovely dolls.

Florin opened her lips to respond, but before a single word could come out, a loud roar echoed through the room. Immediately she turned to face the source of the noise. Her pupils shrank when she saw the new thing running towards them. What on Earth was that!? It certainly didn't look like any doll she'd seen before, for the most part. Her thoughts quickly went to the sentient she'd recently met. He had appeared be part doll with mechanical, animal-like parts as well. That led her to one conclusion- it was a Traitor attacking her.
Florin fell to the floor in a defensive, fetal-like position, her right hand diving into the opening of her torso to feel for the blade she'd thankfully brought with her. Clearly, she wasn't one used to combat.
She curled up tightly upon herself, awaiting a blow from the doll... only to find it never came. Then she heard the doll begin to speak.
"Who are you? Did you get permission to be here?"
Slowly, trembling slightly, Florin raised up her head to look at Lurid. It frightened her just to look at this doll.
Permission? She had to have permission to be here? She hadn't been aware.
Of course, she'd be an idiot to admit that.
After a moment of staring at the doll, Florin finally began to speak. "Um... yes, of course... please, no need for violence... we don't mean any harm..."
She kept her hand in her torso, holding onto the small blade, just in case...

Dove stiffened; what was that? WHAT WAS THAT. A roar- a beast? Some monster coming to steal her and her new friend away for supper? Either way it was terrifying, and Dove found herself unable to move. The monstorous roar studdenly turned into a voice; a voice that wanted them to leave. She got onto her knees and shut her eyes a moment in panic, before reaching for her needle. Her hand was shaking badly though, she could hardly get a hold of it. By the time she did, the one yelling "TRESSPASSERS" suddenly showed its self. Woah. It wasn't really a beast but it might as well be! Not like she'd say that out loud, Dove was far too scared to do much at the time.
Whoever the might-as-well-be-a-beast doll was, they had changed their mind about nipping at them. Dove decided not to throw her needle at Lurid and crawled over to Florin on her hands and knees. She was still visably shaking, after all they weren't out of trouble just yet. They needed permission to be here. Which Dove didn't have, and doubted Florin had either. "Um. Uh. Uhhh. ." She was speechless, and made sure she was behind Florin while staring dumbfound and frightened at the doll(even if Florin was laying down).
Finally, Dove found her words. "Don't kill me!" That said, they weren't very clever words.
