There was certainly something curious about the anonymous tip Kuu received earlier that day. The sunlight didn't ease his nerves as he made his way towards the Tracks. According to the tip, the witness saw shady figures stuff a ragdoll's corpse inside an orange abandoned train car. It had distinguished graffiti on the south side of it, that Kuu eventually caught sight of. The bright green lettering could be made out as "G-Force", just as the tip stated. It was most likely a former gang tag used by human predecessors before the Apocalypse. Perhaps there wasn't something curious about the tip then, since so far everything checked out? Dispelling the gut feeling, the investigator narrowed his optics on the train car and began to quietly sneak towards the open door. Kuu was there just to investigate for now, as he wanted to be sure about the tip before making an actual raid on the place with other, stronger ragdolls to back him up. He figured he could run fast enough away if he was discovered. A decent weapon was tucked away in his satchel as well. It wouldn't be much against a machine, but Kuu doubted he was dealing with the like as the disappearances had to be done by an anima or something similar. No ragdolll in their right mind would follow a machine anywhere. Cautiously, Kuu made his way just below the abandoned train car and proceeded with his stakeout of the place. The silence was not so much chilling as it was just unsettling to Kuu as he sat on one side of rock and kept his optics open around him. The sun was ever setting upon the land. Darkness would come within the hour.

The scurrying ragdoll far below did not go unnoticed.
Though the spider sentient's vision was horrible, in such a place it wasn't needed. Besides, with the failing light, his eyes would only hinder him. His multiple limbs flattened a little bit on the metal surface of the train car, upon which he sat far enough from the edge to avoid being seen, and through the old, weak metal he felt the light, light thud of each step Kuu took. Only once the newcomer was closer and focused on the door did he move forward to keep him in view.
He did not know this doll, but Florin apparently did. It matched her description, and who else would be here at this hour? The circumstances were of mute importance to him.. even when it came to what she wanted done with him. He wasn't clear on that angle, so he would play it safe.
Carefully, quietly, he watched and waited for Kuu to either enter the car or find something else to take a close look at before he began to stealthily climb down towards the earth, his metal spider feet making nothing but light little muted taps against the rust.

Not even the sharp "ears" Kuu had could make out the slight taps on metal as anything more than ambient noise. His eyes kept a steady watch, though. One would have to be quite clever and more to fully take Kuu at unawares. The quiet told him that the culprits were out luring another victim to this place. The tip was stated to be directly involved with the number of disappearances that were taking place. Anima after anima were gone without a trace. The connection between them all was evidence of the slightest involvement between the victims and anything dealing with shady deeds, the magnet/oil trade, ...or key witnesses to such. Kuu kept a calm cool head about the set up, even as the silence also spoke to the possibility that the un-sub was lying in wait for him. It was still best to keep unarmed until he saw the whites of the foe's optics. For a proper stake-out, Kuu decided it would be best not to change his current position unless needed. He had well enough line of sight on the surroundings, plus it wasn't a good idea to needlessly chance being spotted by the unknown subject. Collecting evidence was all that was needed here, as Kuu deemed.
Perhaps if there was still no signs of life within a half hour, he would scope out the inside of the train car...

Evander may not be the perfect sleuth like this doll was, but he was likewise a very cautious individual. He kept watch on Kuu every moment, aiding in his slow descent down the side of the car. The doll seemed hesitant to enter the car.. that would make things a bit difficult for him, considering there would be less space to hide from. Having no idea of Kuu's plans, he decided after a few moments that it would be best to get it over with as fast as possible.
Evander changed direction and moved to the back of the car now. The spider sentient squeezed himself carefully between a broken slate of the further end, getting inside easily; once there he hid himself on one of the many grooves in the wall, lifting one limb.. and striking it hard against one of the metal supports worked into the wall.

The sound was startling, of course. It was unlikely this was ambient noise... Someone was luring him, for sure. But, Kuu figured he wasn't outnumbered here. A group would be much harder to keep hidden from sight and sound. Perhaps he could find someone to question? Or even take in right then and there. Slowly, Kuu got to his feet and made for the door again. This time, he followed through in jumping and climbing up the wheel fixture, and gently inched towards the portal. The dark rectangular hole looked as ominous as Kuu's simple door to his in-home workshop when it's left open at night. The investigator still held an air of caution before entering. He made one loud step with a foot inside the car, withdrew the foot, then threw a small nut from his satchel into the darkness. The metal colliding with metal resonated within and without the train car. While not expecting the supposed hunter to walk into becoming the hunted so easily, Kuu still took out the weapon he had stashed. The dulled hunk of metal was a medium sized lead pipe with a protruding hooked blade at one end. It could bludgeon or rip apart a typical stitchpunk, with quick succession in a skilled hand. With the weapon ready, Kuu waited at the door for any further noises within.
